A full size awning for your caravan easily doubles the amount of under cover space available when you are away. They take a little more time to erect than a porch awning, although they will offer more enclosed space. Many customers use a full awning for longer trips away, when you need that extra room for your outdoor furniture, bikes or other sports gear.
An awning enclosure shields you from the sun, the wind and offers a degree of privacy. Plus, it is a great space for outdoor socialising, especially if the weather is inclement!
Modern awnings are made of long lasting, heavy duty fabric. The panels (windows and doors) can usually be partially or fully zipped out to create light, airy spaces under cover. Many will have insect mesh on ventilation panels.
If you have a seasonal pitch, certain awnings are designed to withstand the rigours of being in place for extended periods; for example, there may be a heavy duty frame option.
